  Extremely rude receptionist and female GP.
  I was running 5 mins late and gave them a curtesy call to advise this with 15 mins notice. The receptionist was very rude to me on the phone. I asked if I should reschedule, she said I should still come.
  Upon arrival (which was literally 5 minutes late) I completed the forms and sat waiting for the doctor for 10 additional minutes. I was confused given I had the impression the doctor was on time from the receptionist.
  When the GP did come out she saw I was there but instead deliberately took the patient who was meant to be after me for their appointment.
  This meant I not only had to wait the remaining time of my original appointment (10 minutes), but then a further 20 or so minutes for the patient who's appointment started after mine.
  When I asked reception, they confirmed this had happened. They also confirmed if the GP is late I would need to wait for whenever they are available and they don't make calls to forewarn patients if the doctor is late.
  The whole experience was petty and rude. Will never be going back to this clinic and I wouldn't recommend them.

  First time reviewing, thought it was warranted considering the poor quality of service, and wanted to share my opinion in the hopes it may help other consumers in making decisions on where to seek medical help. I found the manner of reception staff incompatible to what I consider to be effective patient communication. To ensure that I never make the mistake of booking an appointment at this practice again, I’ve saved their phone number in my address book as ‘do not use’, to ensure I never make the mistake of going here again.

  An extremely rude receptionist with dark hair. Never has a smile on her face and today I saw her answer a call from an obviously elderly person who was having trouble hearing and the receptionist started very rudely shouting at the poor elderly person over the phone.

  Passing through Perth I had to see a doctor. I live remote I was given antibiotics for a suspected infection. After 4 days I booked a phone consultation to receive another course and a doctors certificate for being off work. I recieved the doctors certificate for work but just told to go to a doctor and get tests done for a better antibiotic. I still had to pay for this phone consultation. They could have done the correct tests first time, and given me the correct antibiotics and a certificate at the time of the first visit. So paying for 2 appointments for nothing and I have no doctor where I live. Don't expect to much from this practice just take your bank card.

  Dr Gawne has been my primary Doctor for many years now, he is very thorough and does any necessary testing I might need. He is always empathic, friendly and truly listens.
  
  He really does care about the health of his patients. This has been my go to clinic for 14 years. My family have been coming here for years also. I highly recommend him as a Doctor.
  
  Please note this is a General Practice and charges standard medical fees, with a Medicare rebate.
